Discover the Stories Behind Every Signal

Joey Smith - N4VFA

I am a General Class Amateur Radio Operator located in Jefferson, GA.

Amateur Radio, also known as Ham Radio, is a hobby involving non-commercial two-way radio communications primarily for personal use and public service.

Several of activities and interests are highlighted below. The purpose of this site is to document my activities. This includes Parks On The Air (POTA) activations, computer skills, as well as various other things I learn along the way.

I am in no means an expert in any of these areas. There are many more knowledgeable people and I will link to them along the way as I learn from them. I hope you enjoy as I share through the Ham Radio Chronicles

The Story of N4VFA's Ham Radio Chronicles

Inspiration Behind Ham Radio Chronicles

N4VFA’s Ham Radio Chronicles began as a passion project by a ham radio enthusiast. With a deep-rooted love for communication and technology, the site was created to share insights, experiences, and the vibrant history of ham radio. The mission is to document my ham radio journey and celebrate the stories that emerge from every signal.

The blog aims to share the stories that resonate with every signal sent or encountered. My goal is to foster a community where knowledge and experiences are shared, inspiring both newcomers and seasoned operators alike.
